We are looking for a strong B2B Marketing Manager with 3-5 years experience. We need someone who has worked for a software or technology company within either product or industry marketing. In this role, you will help establish Rosetta Stone's Education brand and position us as the thought-leader in offerings as an enterprise-level education software. This person will own the marketing efforts for our K-12 Education Verticals domestically, and be involved internationally as well.
This position reports to the Director of Industry Marketing and will interact most closely with the following teams: marketing segmentation, business development, creative services, web strategy, institutional sales, and PR.
The position will be housed at our Corporate HQ in Arlington, VA.
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS POSITION:
A member of the Institutional Sales and Marketing organization, this role is responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy and managing the demand generation activity in support of the company’s K-12 Education sales initiatives. Responsible for developing and executing the marketing calendar, creating sales tools, and developing communication channels and outreach to target audiences. This position contributes significantly to overall organization performance.
* Manage strategic development of integrated marketing plans and campaigns (thought leadership creation, print and web advertisements, tradeshow promotions, direct mailings, newsletters, and other lead generation/communication activities * Develop marketing collateral, newsletters, sales presentations and scripts, templates, e-mails, and web-based activities * Cultivate strategic customer relationships and drive the creation of customer success stories, videos, and case studies * Direct/manage internet marketing activities and maintenance/enhancement of Education websites on RosettaStone.com * Work with internal teams including events marketing, brand, and sales operations to ensure effective cross-collaboration for promotions, materials, and consistent messaging
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
* 3-5 years of experience in product or industry marketing role for a B2B software company * Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, marketing (business) or related field * Experience working with a sales team, familiarity with market sales cycles and lead generation tactics and measurement * Demonstrated experience supporting a variety of marketing communications projects and driving though-leadership / content creation * Excellent copy editing and writing skills (portfolio/samples required) * Knowledge of e/mail marketing best practices * Flexible team player with interpersonal skills who embraces challenges and works proactively * Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint (samples required) * Experience with CRM system * International marketing experience preferred
